Description

From left to right: Tsubasa, Hei Tian, and Masayume...they're all NejiPing children! ^^ This is also a contest entry for :iconnarutofanclub:'s design your own OC contest. I've been meaning to draw them anyways so I thought I would also get it done for the sake of the contest :) ...and now some information about them!

Tsubasa
Tsubasa is the eldest. He's very protective of his sisters and, in general, operates under strong convictions of responsibility. He is very strong-willed, driven, and assertive; thus, he has frequently butted heads with authority. His teachers were not fond of him, and even his parents were often uncomfortable with his confrontational attitude. He is quite argumentative, but never for argument's sake—it is only because he thirsts for knowledge and because he is idealistic. He will not do something unless he thoroughly understands the purpose behind it. However, once Tsubasa supports something, he commits to it fully. Unfortunately, he easily comes off as rude and arrogant (which is certainly warranted, since he is indeed very prideful) and he has stumbled into too many fights. Many of these fights have either escalated into violence (when he loses control) or ended with him backing down because he hates fighting with no supportive reasons. Thus, he is simultaneously viewed as aggressive and a coward, and he does not have the best of reputations. His enemies are not few, but his friends certainly are.

Tsubasa can often seem like an enigma. Besides being idealistic and determined, he is also very secretive. He does not like to speak much, and when he does, he doesn't like to reveal his heart. He is a skilled and happy conversationalist, but he will only discuss intellectual concepts and surface-level conversations about his day while refusing to disclose anything else. He only opens up to his father, Neji, and his sister, Hei Tian. Tsubasa has a habit of disappearing without telling anyone—usually to go think quietly or to do something he has determined to accomplish. Usually, however, no one knows what has become of him until he returns.

As for technique, Tsubasa has inherited his mother's bizarre chakra. Like his mother, his chakra endangered him as a child and it was sealed in order to regulate it. Fortunatley, since Ping-An mastered control over it, Tsubasa has learned to do the same. The nature of their corrupted chakra is much like external fire--only because of the seal, because otherwise it would act more like internal explosions--so he wields it as such. He lights his gloves and cloak on "fire" with chakra when he fights. Upon touching an opponent, the chakra immediatley burns, and this is why his clothes are often tattered. Tsubasa claims that it's too much work to constantly find new clothes (which is partially true) but he mostly keeps the tattered look because he likes it. Tsubasa has also been trained in Hyuuga techniques, but he does not use it as they have been codified. Instead, he modifies it to form a foundation: he uses the forms, stances, jutsus, and Byakugan to execute black chakra attacks.

Hei Tian
Hei Tian is a year younger than Tsubasa. Consequently, the two are very, very close and share everything with each other. This is quite fortunate for her, as Tsubasa willing acts as her figure of security and source of strength. Hei Tian is an incredibly self-conscious individual and thus she often shys away. Part of her insecurity stems from the fact that she is vastly different from the rest of her family, which has resulted in frequent feelings of loneliness, alienation, and being misunderstood. Besides the fact that she is the only one who processes through feelings (whereas the rest of them are very logical and don't respond with emotions), she has also been the one who attracted the most problems. Being a tall, well-developed girl, she has always received much male attention; her frequent plights ranged from simple boy drama to creepy men following her home to everything in between. On the other hand, her siblings seemed to be "better" kids because the only matters they concerned themselves with were training.

Although this wasn't Hei Tian's fault, her parents couldn't sympathize with her for years. Both Neji and Ping-An had their fair share of life experiences but had never encountered what Hei Tian had. This obviously did not help; Hei Tian naturally blames herself for most things, and the disapproval of her parents only deepened her shame. Thus, she constantly tries to avoid attention. She wears simple clothes that cover most of her, crosses her arms to hide her chest, and underplays her abilities. Despite her habits of avoidance and hiding, she is a genuinely sweet girl who desires good friendships. She is easy to befriend, easy to get along with, and an incredible empathizer. However, she is very difficult to open up. Because of the shame she carries with her, Hei Tian is afraid of being known deeply. Paradoxically, Hei Tian’s care for others easily leads her into deep conversations—but only if it’s about someone else’s life.

It is quite unfortunate that she underplays herself because objectively, she is an extraordinarily talented shinobi and quick learner. She fights Hyuuga-style and is fast, strong, and agile. She is also an observant individual who picks up important, overlooked details and she possesses a strategic mind. As a result, she defeats opponents quickly and efficiently.

Masayume
Masayume is three years younger than Hei Tian and close to neither her brother nor her sister. This is due to many factors, one being jealousy and the other being the simple inability to relate. Both Tsubasa and Hei Tian attract much attention whereas Masayume is easily overlooked. She is calm, easygoing, extraverted, and a rule-follower. While she is the textbook “good student”, she blends into the crowd. Despite the fact that she disapproves of the trouble her siblings stumble into, she envies them because they stand out. She is especially envious of her sister.

Compared to the rest of her family, Masayume is oddly charismatic—and in a very subdued manner. She is the kind of individual who can win someone over just by sitting next to them in class and making quiet, occasional remarks. She is also upfront, straightforward, and authentic. She isn’t closed-off and she doesn’t hide much—what you see is what you get. Masayume is very oblivious and simple, hardly noticing conflict and never noticing when a boy is interested. However, though it is fair to say that not much fazes her, Masayume is frustratingly confused with her identity. As the youngest, least skilled, and most unnoticed sibling, she constantly wonders if she possesses any individuality. Though she sometimes desires to do crazy things for the sake of being interesting, she is too much of a rule-follower to follow through. Thus she is stuck in her state, and she is usually upset with herself for it. And yet, it will probably not be long before she does something drastic in an effort to find herself.

Because Masayume was born with one normal eye and one Hyuuga eye, she cannot use Byakugan. She also did not inherit her mother’s unique chakra, so she thus took up learning the next logical option: sword-fighting. Ping-An gladly taught her everything she knew; it wasn’t too difficult to pick up, and soon Masayume decided to branch out. She adopted the style of dual swordfighting as her own.

PHEW IT’S DONE! :faint: hope you like them! ^^
